A penguin dancing to the club anthem ‘Marry Me’ in a London pub on Christmas Day is the latest case of a group of birds refusing to be quiet about their festive love.
The birds have been seen in London, Liverpool, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Brighton in the past fortnight, all of which are in the city centre.
It is not clear if they are part of a local or international group.
The penguins, which can reach a height of up to 60ft (20 metres), are not native to the UK but they are known for their affection for the festive season.
They are usually seen in the winter months.
A BBC spokesperson said: “We are aware of reports that the penguins are performing in the London area on Christmas day.”
