Uber: New rules to be implemented in the wake of the Paris attacks

Uber is planning to introduce new policies that will require riders to provide their social media credentials before using its platforms, The Wall St. Journal reported.

Uber’s platform is home to some of the most valuable information on the Internet, and Uber’s policy is designed to allow it to keep users’ data secure.

But the new policies, which Uber has yet to discuss publicly, could open up the company to legal claims for privacy violations.
